Data Deletion
Last updated: 2 October 2026
RestoQR is a restaurant platform operated by Arcaisys Private Limited. This page explains how a restaurant, or a guest of a restaurant that uses RestoQR, can ask us to delete their data — including data connected to WhatsApp.
What we hold
For a restaurant: its RestoQR account and settings, menu, orders and bookings, and — if it connected its WhatsApp number — the connection details for that number (stored encrypted), the wording of its booking messages, and a log of the booking messages sent and the replies received.
For a guest:the name, phone number and booking details given to the restaurant, and the booking messages exchanged on WhatsApp with that restaurant (for example a confirmation, a reminder and the guest's On Time, Running Late or Cancel reply). Phone numbers are stored encrypted.
How to ask for deletion
Email pm.team@arcaisys.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and tell us:
- whether you are a restaurant or a guest;
- a restaurant: the restaurant's name and the email address of its RestoQR account;
- a guest: the restaurant(s) you booked with and the mobile number you used.
We may contact you to confirm the request comes from you before deleting anything. We will email you when the deletion is complete.
Disconnecting WhatsApp yourself (restaurants)
A restaurant owner can stop RestoQR using its WhatsApp number at any time: in OwnerOS, open WhatsApp → Disconnect. This removes the number's connection details and message wording from RestoQR straight away; no further messages are sent. To also remove RestoQR's access on Meta's side, open Meta Business Suite → Settings → Business integrations and remove RestoQR.
What happens after a request
We delete the data described above from RestoQR. Records we are required by law to keep — for example invoices — are kept only for as long as the law requires and are not used for anything else.
